Pixel by PixelMy junior year of high school I told a friend that my highest form of failure was sitting in a cubicle slaving away for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week until…well, eternity. This was long before I had my first job which, ironically enough, was scanning court files in a stuffy office for 8 hours a day. It was during that job that it became incredibly clear that such a life was not for me. Previous to that I had an 8 day stint at a fast food place, but I ended up leaving because it sucked so much and I had a better (the aforementioned) job waiting for me in Seattle.

Seattle SkylineA long held belief of mine is that you can always change your situation. Of course actually implementing this belief isn’t as cut-and-dry as it sounds, but it IS possible. I love good irony. It quenches my thirst for sarcasm and humor all in one go. That’s the only reason I chose the term “re-education.” Sure, I could have used brainwashing but that seemed a little too abrasive, even for me. I want to free you from those proverbial chains and help you realize that what you think is your choice. Thought liberation is not easy, but it’s totally worth it.
