Introduction
Two years ago shit hit the fan. Our economic well-being plummeted, stealing jobs from hardworking citizens and leaving this nation in shambles. From the ashes rose a new breed of human, The Creative! These highly intuitive people learned to adapt to a foreign world and grow at astonishing rates. They understood the most precious asset was not money, but creativity. Armed with ideas, these Creatives set forth and took action.
Now it’s your turn. This guide will show you how to tap into your own superhuman creativity and dominate the passionate living revolution.
The Birth of the New-Age Creative
From the dawn of time there has been creativity. How do you think fire was discovered? What about the invention of the wheel? They all started with an idea that was creative and innovative.
Everything you see, hear, taste and touch began with an idea. Someone applied their creativity to the idea and executed something magnificent (okay, some things aren’t that awesome, but the creative process is). It is the essence of our very existence. Without creativity, we would have no world at all.
It utterly baffles me that our natural curiosity and creativity are diluted and intended to be funneled into someone else’s wallet. It hasn’t always been that way and it change is possible. There is a golden opportunity just waiting for us to realize.
It may be hard to believe, but when the economy went south and job security became a four letter word, an incredible door was opened. For the first time, people were coming to their senses. No longer would they stand by and rent their souls for 35k a year. “Survival of the fittest” was never a more relevant term and while some frantically ran around cursing the heavens, others got creative.
Drawing from their passions and utilizing the extraordinary power of the internet, these Creatives began connecting with one another, building a web that could withstand gunfire.
It was during this time that a handful of powerful tools began to take off. Twitter was rapidly gaining more and more attention. Facebook was growing at outstanding rates. WordPress was being recognized for the massive power it possesses. These tools created a platform unlike any other in history. It was easier than ever to reach out to like-minded people and tell them your ideas. Soon these ideas were spreading and reaching every corner of the earth. Movements and revolutions were subtly sweeping the nation. The Creatives began to be heralded as gurus and experts, most modestly refusing these titles and insisting they only wanted to help.
The beauty is they weren’t lying. It’s possible to learn just about anything via the internet. And while some will argue that the only real education requires 40k a year, a pool of savvy, intelligent and talented people can prove otherwise. Just do a simple Google search for anything you’re interested in. Odds are someone wants to spread their knowledge and teach others. Open-source education is the future. The Creatives know this better than anyone.
Through creative insight, execution and dedication, the new-age Creatives are blowing minds on a daily basis.
You can too.
Part 2 will teach you how to tap into and make friends with your creativity. Look for that article on Friday, June 9th. See you there!
